Twenty years of this, and the numbers are the story: more than one and a quarter million dollars raised in total, with over ninety thousand in a single recent year. Staff at the dealership pick a local charity each year and every dollar donated on the day goes to it, with the company matching up to forty thousand. Be clear about what it is, though. This is a car show that welcomes motorcycles rather than a bike show — corvettes, street rods, muscle cars, trucks, imports, rat rods and vintage machinery are what fill the lot, with bikes among them. If you are bringing something to display you will be in good company; if you are coming purely for motorcycles, expect to be outnumbered. Admission is free and so is entry for children; displaying a vehicle costs a modest fee. It runs on a Sunday late morning into the afternoon, on the dealership lot on South Washington.
