SBMC 22nd Annual Bike and Muscle Car Show
April 24–25, 2027 · 9 AM · Dickinson, North Dakota
About this event
Almost every show this size is raising money for something. Dickinson's is not, and the club is straight about why. Mike Odegaard, one of its officers, has described the weekend as a public service — something the club puts on to give back to its own town rather than to route the takings somewhere else.
It runs indoors at the West River Ice Center on the last full weekend of April, which in western North Dakota is a sensible hedge against the weather. Registration opens on the Friday at noon; the hall is open ten to six on Saturday and ten to four on Sunday. Five dollars a head per day, under-twelves free. Judging is by age group and category across bikes, cars and trucks, and the trophies are custom-built rather than bought in.
The nineteenth drew sixty-odd motorcycles against twenty-three cars, so the bikes are genuinely the larger half of it. Several machines are entered each year in memory of owners who have died, which is what gives the hall its particular atmosphere.
