11th Annual Bikers 4 Bikers Fundraiser

Saturday, April 10, 2027 · 10 AM · Bismarck, North Dakota

About this event

The name misleads, or near enough. Bikers 4 Bikers is motorcyclists raising money for bicycles — specifically for iCan Bike Camp, a week-long programme that teaches people with disabilities to ride a two-wheeler using adapted roller bikes and trained spotters running alongside.

It is run jointly by Designer Genes of North Dakota, a Down syndrome support charity whose executive director Kendra Vander Wal fronts it, and the Our Place Motorcycle Club, where Adam Kuntz does. The first ten runnings put more than forty-nine thousand dollars into the camp, and the most recent one existed to fund bringing the camp back to Bismarck. Vander Wal's reason for it is that riding a bike is a lifelong skill, and everybody deserves the tools and the independence that come with it.

Two things to know before you go. It is indoors and it is not a ride: lunch on a freewill donation, games, a bake sale, a silent auction, and a raffle whose prize is a motorcycle ride redeemed later in the year. And the picture is a room full of bikers working a bake sale.

Is this your event? If anything here is wrong — the date, the town, the details — or you would like to add to it, tell us and we will fix it.
