TOR Racing Hunter GP

November 21–22, 2026 · New Jersey Motorsports Park, 8000 Dividing Creek Rd · Millville, New Jersey

About this event

South Jersey off-road racing means harescrambles, and Temple Off Road Racing deliberately does not run them. Tegan Temple started the series with what she calls a volunteer gang of misfits and dirt bike junkies, wanting grand prix racing — national atmosphere, local entry fee — at a level where a whole family could turn up and all of them ride.

The Hunter GP carries the name of Hunter Harbs, a South Jersey racer killed in a car accident in 2022. The first running drew over a thousand racers and spectators.

New Jersey Motorsports Park is a road-course facility, and the course here is built on the off-road ground around the circuits: roughly two miles of grass track, woods, rock gardens and log crossings, with extreme sections cut in for anyone who wants tyre jumps and gaps. Youth and adult classes run two thirty-minute motos; the PeeWee riders get a single forty-five-minute moto of their own and go off thirty seconds ahead of the pack. Novices can take a trail lesson instead of racing, with no points at stake.

Spectators pay nothing, which in flat Cumberland County pine country is worth knowing.
