4th Annual Sgt. Bobby Shisler Legacy Motorcycle & Jeep Ride
Thursday, June 3, 2027 · 8 AM · Deptford, New Jersey
About this event
Bobby Shisler's uncle rides with the Rolling Badges, and that is how this came to exist.
Officer Robert Shisler of Deptford Township police was shot while arresting a suspect in March 2023 and died of his injuries two months later. The Rolling Badges Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club and 4 Heroes Charity set the ride up the following year with the blessing of his parents, Tracy and Bob. There is a permanent memorial to him at 4 Heroes' headquarters in Westville.
It takes Jeeps as well as bikes, which is worth knowing before you picture it. The run has gone from a school car park in Deptford out to the RiverWinds centre on the Delaware at West Deptford, then down to Harbaugh Village at Mullica Hill, where the band and the vendors and the silent auction are. One year West Deptford's police brought a dog and put on a demonstration.
Money goes to the Gloucester County Police Academy, where Shisler trained, and to the county police memorial association.
Flat South Jersey riding at a family pace.
