About this event
Maryville puts you at the doorstep of the best-known motorcycle roads in the eastern United States, and this rally is built around that fact rather than around a stage. Guided rides go out daily — the Bluff Mountain Loop runs about 115 miles and takes most of four hours, and there is a dual-sport route over Caine Mountain toward Santeelah on forest service roads for anyone on knobbies. Vendor villages run at Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson and Foothills Mall, with demo fleets from Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorrad on hand. Evenings move to The Shed and the bars around Maryville and Lenoir City. A charity ride during the week benefits Dolly Parton's Children's Hospital. What really sells it is the geography: US 129 and its 318 corners, the Cherohala Skyway, the Foothills Parkway and the Blue Ridge are all within a morning's ride, and the rally exists mainly to give you a week of them.
