A small club run out of an American Legion post north of Waco, and best taken at face value: twenty dollars a head, a fun run, bike games and games for children, with primitive tent camping and room for self-contained RVs on the grounds. A limited number of pitches have power and water, so it is worth arriving early or asking ahead. It is put on by a club rather than a promoter, which generally means the people running it are the people riding it, and a weekend like that is as good as the company. Little is published about it beyond the basics — treat the detail as thin rather than absent, and if you want to know more the Legion post is the place to ask. Elm Mott sits just off the interstate north of Waco, which makes it an easy stop to build into a longer run through central Texas.
