Bentley’s 4th Annual Spring Fever Bike Show

Saturday, May 22, 2027 · Arundel, Maine

About this event

Bentley's runs two bike shows a year and this is the one with no rules. The Ride-In show in June has eight judged classes, operable and licensed machines only, and two hundred and fifty dollars for Best in Show. Spring Fever, three weeks after the saloon opens for the season, has none of that: all bikes, no restrictions, no classes and no judges. The crowd votes, the top three take trophies made out of Pabst cans, and everyone entered walks away with ten dollars of Big Moose Harley-Davidson credit and a shot at a free oil change. Bentley Warren — who won the Oswego Speedway championship seven times before buying a one-room bar on Route 1 in 2004 and turning it into eighty acres — is not running a concours here. He is running the first excuse of the year to get the bike out of the garage, which is why it lasts three hours in the middle of the day and why a half-finished project is as welcome as a finished one. Coastal Route 1 between Biddeford and Kennebunk to get there.
