Riot on the River 2026

About this event
A club-run weekend on the Gila River, at a riverside park in Winkelman with acres of free camping, a showers building and a burnout pit. It is the Arizona Confederation of Motorcycle Clubs' only fundraiser for itself, which means the money goes to riders' rights work rather than to a promoter. The format is unfussy: a band on the Saturday, a bike show, biker games, raffles, vendors and a lot of sitting round a fire. Entry is twenty dollars a head or thirty a couple, camping is free, and the bar prices are what bar prices used to be. Cans only — no glass anywhere on the site. Organisers are explicit that solo riders, couples and people who do not ride are all welcome, which is not something every club event says out loud. Late October is the right month for the Arizona desert, and the Gila valley road in is a long way better than the interstate.
