8th Annual Arizona Fallen Hero Memorial Ride at Desert Wind Harley-Davidson
Saturday, November 7, 2026 · Mesa, Arizona
About this event
Most charity rides will take your money whatever you ride and however long you have ridden. The Arizona Fallen Hero Memorial Riders tell inexperienced riders, in writing, to come in a car instead.
That is the measure of it. Riders set off from several points around the state and converge on Mesa, and getting there means freeway, city traffic, mountain road and open desert highway in the same day.
No founder is named. The group's own account is that its people kept turning up at funerals for fallen first responders and service members, watched the families start on something nobody should have to, and decided that showing up once was not enough. They run three of these a year now, northern, southern and central. Mesa is the central one, hosted at Desert Wind Harley-Davidson on South Country Club Drive.
Registration is forty-five dollars solo and sixty-five with a passenger, more on the day, taking in a shirt and the barbecue.
It ends where the whole point of it sits: the memorial ceremony, with the bikes parked in formation behind it.
