Maryland International Motorcycle Show & Swap Meet

About this event

Jam On Productions says it does this the old-school way, and it has been at it since 1973. Paul Jackson, the company's chief executive out of an address on Winona Avenue in Baltimore, has run a fall swap meet for more than thirty years, and the firm's winter circuit takes in Atlantic City in January and Timonium in February before heading south for Daytona Bike Week. This one is both halves at once rather than one or the other: a vendor floor of new and old parts, with sellers driving in from across the Northeast and in some years from Canada, and alongside it a judged show of antique, custom and stock machines with a Best of Show award, vintage displays, and racers on hand to talk. The venue is the Carroll County Agricultural Center, a non-profit that has been running events for over fifty years on twenty-odd acres, with the 52,000 square foot Danele Shipley Memorial Arena at its centre and the county farmers' market as its permanent tenant. Admission is not published. For a December weekend in Maryland it is an indoor parts hunt with a bike show attached.
