About this event
The Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club's national gathering, co-hosted on the central coast by the Central Coast Classic Motorcycle Club. Four days, built around two guided rides — one taking in Highway 1 — with the bike show and swap meet on the Saturday. The show is judged across twenty-one classes, which tells you how seriously it is taken. Alongside the expected Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki brackets there are classes for Orphan Japanese makes, tiddlers, minis and scooters, café racers, competition machines and hand-built customs. British, American and European classes run too, along with pre-war, sidecar, and original-unrestored-patina categories for bikes that have earned their wear. Registration covers the rally and a Santa Maria-style barbecue banquet on the Friday. Show entry and swap meet spaces are priced separately, and members of the public can walk the show for a small fee without registering.
