Virginia CMA State Rally 2026
September 17–20, 2026 · Thu, Sep 17, 2026 · Breaks Interstate Park, 627 Commission Cir, Breaks, VA 24607 · Breaks, Virginia
About this event
The Virginia state rally of the Christian Motorcyclists Association, and the most dramatically sited of any of them: Breaks Interstate Park straddles the Virginia-Kentucky line around a gorge the park calls the Grand Canyon of the South, with the Russell Fork River running through the bottom of it. The rally itself follows the CMA pattern — fellowship, worship, chapters from across the state meeting up, and a visit from the region's national evangelist. The park supplies the rest: cabins, cottages, lodge rooms, yurts and a campground with hookups, plus a restaurant. What makes it worth the trip regardless is the approach. Virginia Route 80 runs from I-81 up to the park gates and is a genuinely demanding road — narrow, very lightly trafficked, and through Hayters Gap a sequence of tight unguarded curves that is no place to be learning. Back of the Dragon and its 438 corners is in the same corner of the state.
