Colonial Beach Bike Fest
October 8–11, 2026 · 8 AM · Town Hill, Colonial Beach, Virginia · Colonial Beach, Virginia
About this event
A free festival on the Potomac, run by the local chamber of commerce and now in its twelfth year. It takes over Town Hill, the downtown blocks and the waterfront boardwalk, with live music on multiple stages and rows of food and merchandise vendors. Admission, parking and the concerts are all free, which is rare at this scale — organisers expect tens of thousands through the weekend. The bike show is judged in stock, custom, dresser, antique, trike and sidecar, and metric classes, with an awards ceremony to close it. Three organised rides run during the festival: the Defenders of Freedom Ride for military and veterans, police-escorted in from Triangle; the Patriots for Christ Freedom Run; and a Boozefighters MC charity ride. There is a Blessing of the Bikes. Colonial Beach sits about sixty-five miles from Washington and seventy-five from Richmond. Lodging and restaurant tables go early.
