Thunder on the Strip Fall Bike Rally
September 10–13, 2026 · 10 AM · Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio
About this event
Twenty years running and held the weekend after Labor Day, Thunder on the Strip has no single venue — it happens across sixteen-odd bars and halls along the Strip at Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio's old Lake Erie resort town. The Thunder Bar Hop turns that into a game: collect a stamp at every participating business and the shirt is free. The Founder's Parade opens the Friday. Over the weekend there is a bike show, an audio competition, mini bike races behind the East End Bar & Grill, and four separate stunt outfits working the crowd, including a Globe of Death. Music runs to roughly a hundred and twenty slots across four days, weighted heavily toward tribute acts. Sunday closes with a bike blessing and a September 11th ceremony. There is no gate — it is venue by venue — and Ashtabula County's wineries sit a short ride inland if you want a quieter afternoon.
