Texas ABATE State Rally
September 11–13, 2026 · 3 PM · 100 Kerfoot Lane, Bells, Texas 75414 · Bells, Texas
About this event
Twenty-nine years in, the Texas ABATE state rally is held on private ground at Bells, up in Grayson County near the Red River, and it is run the way these events were run before they got big. The published programme is a poker run, field games, a motorcycle show, a fifty-fifty draw, a loudest bike contest, a cool-down contest, a bold boxer contest, karaoke and a bonfire. Gates open Friday afternoon and most people camp for the duration. Fifteen dollars a head gets you in and camping is free, which is close to unheard of now. Vendor spaces are fifty and come with two wristbands. As with every ABATE event the underlying purpose is motorcyclists' rights work in the state legislature — the rally funds it. North Texas riding is open and quiet. The Red River run west out of Gainesville on US 82 and north on FM 103 is the regional favourite, an easy day from the rally site.
