Stumpjumpers Ladies Ride 2026

October 16–18, 2026 · Centerville, Washington

About this event

Eleven women rode the first one in 2015. Two hundred and eighty-eight rode the 2025 edition, and the men of the club spend the day marshalling and riding sweep rather than riding it. That inversion is the point of the Stumpjumpers Ladies Ride, and it is why the thing has grown the way it has.

The Stumpjumpers have been going since 1967 — flat out fun since 1967 is their own line — and are better known for the Desert 100. No founder is named for the ladies' ride itself. It runs at Eddieville MX Park in the dry Klickitat County hills near Goldendale, the same ground as Starvation Ridge.

The format is a poker run on trails graded by ability, a punch each lap, and riders free to move up or down a grade between laps, which is the detail that makes it work for a genuine beginner rather than only in theory. Games and skills challenges after lunch. It is free, all ages, with a taco bar included and a donation at the gate if you want to give one. The span runs from children on Stacyc balance bikes to women on full-size dirt bikes.
