Most track day organisers run three rider groups. Precision runs four, and the reason explains the whole character of the thing.
Fahad Khan and Rafael Pacheco started the company in December 2023 at Jennings GP. Pacheco races and runs a bike shop in Dalton, Georgia, and used to do trackside tyre work; Khan came to riding late and built the website. Khan's complaint was that too many track day riders give it up within a few years, usually at the point where they move out of novice and find themselves being passed by people who never explain how it works. So there is an extra group in the middle for exactly those riders, numbers capped at twenty to twenty-five, and coaching on passing and being passed rather than only on lap times.
Two days at Carolina Motorsports Park, $249 to $490 depending on how you book. Six to eight sessions a day, track hot from nine until six, free camping and power in the paddock, showers, a 104-decibel limit enforced.
The circuit is Alan Wilson's 1998 design: 2.28 miles, fourteen turns, and thirty-six feet wide — which is the number that matters. Room to be overtaken without flinching.
