The fall rally is the Grand Strand's quieter half. It spreads along roughly sixty miles of coast from North Myrtle Beach down to Georgetown rather than gathering in one place, so the day is yours to ride and the evening fills up wherever you stop. Murrells Inlet is where it gets loudest after dark — Suck Bang Blow and its burnout pit, the Beaver Bar, and the stretch of seafood restaurants along the marsh walk. Regulars pick this one over the May rally for the same reasons every time: thinner crowds, easier parking, and cooler air for a full day in the saddle. There is no gate and no wristband — the rally is the bars, the vendor stalls and the coastal roads themselves. South Carolina requires helmets for riders under 21, and local police enforce speed and open-container rules firmly during rally weeks, which is worth knowing in advance rather than afterwards.
