Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® 13th Annual Bug Run
Saturday, September 26, 2026 · 8 AM · Midwest City, Oklahoma
About this event
Thirteen years of the Bug Run, put on by a Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association chapter and based at a conference centre in Midwest City. Around two hundred motorcycles ran it last time out, and the organisers say plainly that they want to beat that. It is a poker run with a wrinkle: a bug splatter competition, judged for first, second and third, which is exactly as daft and as Oklahoma as it sounds. Registration runs through the early afternoon and the last bike is in by eight. Back at the venue there are silent and live auctions, door prizes, trophies and awards for the high and low hands. Raffle prizes in recent years have included a Big Dog Mastiff, a Caribbean cruise and a rifle. CVMA membership is restricted to combat veterans, but the ride is not — the money raised goes back into helping veterans in the area who need it.
