BACA 15th Annual A.N.T.S. Rally
Saturday, April 24, 2027 · 8 AM · Shreveport, Louisiana
About this event
Bikers Against Child Abuse does not work the way most causes on a rally flyer do. It does not fund a building or a research programme; its members attach themselves to one frightened child at a time and stay attached, turning up at the house and at the courthouse so the child has a large and visible escort. That is the organisation behind this rally. Shreveport's chapter is River Cities, one of six in Louisiana, covering the north-west corner of the state. No founder of the rally is named in anything BACA publishes, and the club does not spell out the acronym in its own title on any of its own pages either — this is an organisation that puts very little about itself in public. What it does publish is an open door: the chapter meets on the last Tuesday of the month at a brewery on Linwood Avenue, and the first part of the meeting is open to anyone who wants to sit in. A rider curious about how the work actually goes can turn up and ask before committing to a rally day.
