22nd Annual Toys for Tots Ride
Sunday, November 22, 2026 · 12 PM · New River Harley-Davidson, 2394 Wilmington Hwy. · Jacksonville, North Carolina
About this event
Toys for Tots belongs to the Marine Corps, which makes this one of the few toy runs anywhere that happens in the Corps' own town. Jacksonville is Camp Lejeune's town, and a fair number of the riders who turn up at New River Harley-Davidson with a box strapped to the pillion have worn the uniform that collects them.
No founder is credited. The dealership has simply run it for two decades and more, which in a place where the population turns over with every posting is its own kind of achievement: the ride outlasts the people who rode it last year.
The format is plain to the point of bare. Bring one new toy, unwrapped, and that is the entry fee. Riders leave the lot in an escorted group, ride out, and come back to hot dogs in the car park. No poker hand, no band, no raffle.
What you see is a line of Harleys pulling out of a dealership forecourt with sissy bars and saddlebags stacked with boxes, going nowhere in particular and coming back again.
