Nothing at this one goes anywhere. The Metro Detroit chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America runs it as a swap meet and nothing else: no route, no poker hand, no band, no beneficiary. You come to find a part.
The chapter has held it since the late 2010s at the Eastern Michigan Fairgrounds in Imlay City, an hour north of Detroit in Lapeer County farmland. It runs a single morning into the early afternoon. Vendors take the fairground buildings and tailgate spaces on the grass outside, and the stock is what the name says: antique and vintage motorcycle parts, whole machines, literature, badges, and the sort of small bracket that has kept a restoration stalled for three years.
There is no origin story to speak of, which is fitting. An AMCA chapter swap meet is a working event run by the same people who need what they are selling.
