War Horse Harley Annual Toy Run
Saturday, November 21, 2026 · 8 AM · War Horse Harley-Davidson, 5331 N US Hwy 441 · Ocala, Florida
About this event
Where the name came from, nobody at War Horse Harley-Davidson has ever put in writing. What the Ocala store does publish is the shape of its toy run, and it is unusual in one respect: Santa and Mrs Claus do not wait at the finish to receive the toys, they arrive on a Harley into the tent where the toys are already heaped.
The day belongs as much to the War Horse H.O.G. chapter as to the dealership, and Guy Mongello has directed it for years. Five dollars and one unwrapped gift gets a rider in; registration from nine, out around noon behind a police escort that loops north on 441 and comes back through Fort King Street and Silver Springs Boulevard, flat and fast across the horse farms north-east of town. There is a catered lunch, a band, a charity bike wash and a blood drive parked in the lot.
The toys go to Marion County children through local help agencies. One year it rained through the whole of it and nobody left.
