Meldy's Motorcycle Parts Swapmeet- Logan, Ohio

About this event

A parts swap meet held at a motorcycle parts business in the Hocking Hills, and about as unpretentious as an event gets: free to get in, free to park, and open from nine until five. The stock runs from early machines to late models — the pitch from the people running it is that you can stand in front of a part, argue about the price and take it home the same day, which is a thing online ordering cannot do. If you are rebuilding something and need a piece that no longer has a catalogue number, this is the kind of place where it turns up in a crate. The organisers run several of these a year at the same site, so if the dates do not suit there will be another one. The setting is a reason to ride rather than drive. Hocking Hills is the best motorcycling country in southern Ohio, with the state park roads and the ridges above Logan worth a full day on their own.
