Jonesboro River Rally 2026

About this event
A small Grant County town closes its main street and, by most counts, hosts the largest motorcycle rally in Indiana — figures of fourteen thousand bikes and twenty thousand people get quoted, and it is free to walk into. The bike show is the centrepiece, with registration through Saturday morning and judging in the afternoon. Around it run a stereo sound competition, field events, memorial rides, Harley stunt riders on both Friday and Saturday, trials riders, a motorcycle high-wire act, a Ball of Steel, bands from late afternoon until midnight and rows of vendors and food. Sunday morning brings a church service. Camping can be booked through the local American Legion. Donations at the gate fund the following year's event and the town itself, which is why it has stayed free. There were rumours a while back that the rally was finishing; the organisers have since confirmed it continues.
