GNCC Cross Country Racing - Round 12 - Ironman
October 24–25, 2026 · TBD · Crawfordsville, Indiana
About this event
The Indiana round of the national cross country series, run on ground that mixes woodland with harvested cornfields and takes in some of the steepest hills anywhere on the circuit — the climbs near the riverbanks are what riders talk about afterwards. It is named for an ATV champion from the state who died before a national round ever came here, and it has run since the mid-nineties. Racing is by class over two and three hours, across well over a hundred classes covering bikes, quads and electric mountain bikes, from first-timers to professionals, so the entry list is genuinely open to anyone. Two things set this round apart from the rest of the season: a breast cancer fundraising element that has the paddock turning out in pink for a local foundation, and, because of where it falls in the year, trick-or-treating and a costume contest for the children racing the smallest class.
