A dealership rally on US-441 at Leesburg, and a good deal bigger than that description suggests: eight bands, more than sixty vendors and three bars across a long weekend. The bars are run by a firefighters' charity and the local Nam Knights chapter, so the beer money goes somewhere useful. This is the autumn counterpart to the same dealership's spring event, and it should not be confused with Leesburg Bikefest — the city's own street rally, which is a different and much larger thing in April. There is no camping on site, but the dealership points riders at a dry campground at Fruitland Park and an RV village a few miles up the road that discounts full hookups for the weekend. Lake County's back roads are the reason to ride rather than trailer: the country between the lakes north of Leesburg is quiet, flat and fast, and November is the month Florida becomes properly pleasant again.
