About this event
The Southern California chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America has run this road run for more than thirty-five years, and it is named for Max Bubeck, the Indian racer and record-setter who rode it for decades. Base is The Oasis at Death Valley on Highway 190, the old Furnace Creek Ranch. The shape of the weekend rarely changes: people arrive Thursday, ride on Friday and Saturday with lunch out at Beatty across the Nevada line, and sit down to a banquet at the hotel on the Saturday evening. It is a run for old machines rather than a rally — there is no vendor row and no stage — and the rooms sell out early enough that booking is part of entering. Pre-registration is expected.
