6th Annual Rally & Ride Out of the Darkness™
Saturday, October 3, 2026 · Winter Haven, Florida
About this event
A police-escorted ride from Auburndale Speedway at Winter Haven across to the SUN 'n FUN campus at Lakeland, followed by a four-hour rally in a hangar. It is run by Love Surrounds You, a nonprofit working on mental health, and the money goes to resources and scholarships for families and veterans. The morning runs to a schedule: registration from eight, a blessing of the bikes at half nine, a safety briefing at quarter to ten, kickstands up at ten. Jeeps, cars and trucks ride alongside the motorcycles, and riders come in from several states. The rally at the other end carries more than ninety vendors, food trucks, live music, guest speakers, raffles, vehicle shows and — the part that matters — mental health resources on site and staffed. Pre-registration is encouraged and includes a shirt. Vendor booths are cheap enough that local businesses turn out in numbers.
