45th Annual Northeastern Charity Motorcycle Classic
August 26–29, 2027 · 8 AM · Manitowoc, Wisconsin
About this event
The Ant Hill Mob M.C. exists, by its own account, to put on motorcycle events in order to fund charitable ones. The show is the means rather than the point. In 2023 the club handed over $87,250 to Pink Heals Manitowoc County, to the sheriff's K9 unit and to the Collins Fire Department, which for a small Wisconsin club is a considerable sum to move in a single year.
The Classic is an indoor show at the Manitowoc County Expo Center, put on with Hoban Brothers Motorcycles out on Highway 42 along the lakeshore. Twenty-four classes, antique through to radical. Five dollars to get in, four for seniors, children free; thirty to enter a machine early or forty late, with two passes included. The Saturday night is a dance with two bands until midnight, and the trophies go out on the Sunday.
The thing people photograph is the raffle board, where the grand prize has run to a Harley Street Glide, a Polaris side-by-side, or fifteen thousand dollars in cash.
