3rd Annual Fallen Brothers Event and Bike Show

A small afternoon bike show at a VFW post in Preston, in the southeastern corner of Connecticut, now in its third year and run by a group connected to a local motorcycle club. Proceeds go to local veterans. It runs for four hours in the afternoon with food trucks, vendors, raffles and merchandise alongside the show. Twenty dollars to enter, and children ten and under go free. This is a community event rather than a rally — no camping, no stages, no vendor city — and it is worth going in expecting that. What you get is a post car park full of bikes, the people who built them standing next to them, and money going somewhere local. Eastern Connecticut is quietly good riding country. The roads through the woods between Preston and the Rhode Island line are narrow, empty and at their best in September, which makes an afternoon show an easy thing to build a day around.
