26th Annual Frosty Balls Poker Run

Saturday, January 2, 2027 · 5191 S Blvd · Las Vegas, Nevada

About this event

The run is older than the building it starts from. Las Vegas Harley-Davidson has held the Frosty Balls poker run since about 2002, when Don Andress and Tim Cashman owned the store. Andress had bought it in 1995 from Neil Nelson, a longtime friend, and Cashman came in as part-owner the year after; the pair only moved onto the Strip in October 2014, into sixty-five thousand square feet a short walk from the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, a site that became affordable after Boulevard land prices collapsed in 2012. They sold the group to John Morotti in December 2018. The ride leaves the dealership on 2 January and takes five card stops out into the desert, with Nipton, Searchlight and Railroad Pass all having had turns, before coming back for food, music and raffles from noon. Thirty-five dollars in advance, forty on the day, extra hands ten in cash, and the pot pays a thousand, five hundred and two hundred and fifty. The first two hundred registrations get a pin struck for that year only.
