2026 Tri-State Gold Star Families Memorial Ride (MS-LA-AL)
Sep 27, 2026 – Oct 2, 2026 · 2 PM · Jackson, Mississippi
About this event
Not a day out but a rolling convoy that works its way across three states over most of a week, running monument to monument. It is built around the Gold Star Families memorials — those dedicated to the families of service members who died — and the stops along the way take in veterans' homes, a military training camp, a university veterans' centre and a series of wreath layings. You do not have to commit to all of it: riders join for a single leg, for a phase, or for the duration, and lodging is either booked as part of a package or arranged yourself. It is open to anything street legal, so Jeeps and classic cars run with the motorcycles. The final day is given over to a run along the interstate under the banner of veteran suicide awareness, closing at the memorial where the route ends. Escort duties are handled by a volunteer flag organisation.
