2026 Steve McQueen Rally & Show
June 5–7, 2026 · Chino Hills, California
About this event
This show is held on the campus of Boys Republic, a residential school for at-risk teenagers in Chino Hills — and that is not incidental. Steve McQueen was sent there as a boy in 1946 and credited the place for the rest of his life. The event, properly the Friends of Steve McQueen Car and Motorcycle Show, has raised over three and a half million dollars for the school since it began in 2008. The weekend runs in three parts: a welcome party, a charity gala, and the show itself on the Sunday, covering motorcycles, cars and off-road machinery. Several thousand spectators come through, and the quality of what is parked on the grass reflects McQueen's own taste rather than any single marque. Practical notes: parking is ten dollars and tax-deductible, and the whole event is cashless — bring a card, not a roll of notes.
