14th Annual Vintage Motorcycle Show

About this event
Fourteen consecutive years of this one, held on the forecourt of a Scottsdale dealership and judged both by officials and by spectator vote. The classes are drawn sensibly: Vintage American, Vintage European, Vintage Japanese and Vintage Scooter for anything 1999 and earlier, a Modern Era class for 2000 to 2010 across all makes, Dirtbike and Quads, and an open Café Racer and Custom class for any year. Nine trophies go out along with cash awards. Around the judging there is live music, vendors, pin-up models, Indian's demo trucks and a coffee truck. Registration is cheap and cheaper still in advance, which also gets you a commemorative patch — day-of entries are cash only. Spectating costs nothing. It is a morning-to-early-afternoon event, so it leaves the rest of the day for the Beeline Highway or the run up to Bartlett Lake, both within easy reach of north Scottsdale.
